An ATV (four-wheeler) is a single-rider machine you straddle like a motorcycle. A UTV, or side-by-side, seats two or more people for trail riding, farm work, and hauling. Golf carts round out the fleet — all share the same small-engine basics.

Common Repairs We Handle
The jobs we see most:
- Starting & electrical issues. Won't crank, or clicks at the starter? Usually the battery, starter, or charging system. We test the circuit before replacing parts.
- Carburetor cleaning. Old gas gums up the carburetor and causes hard starts and stalls — cleaning it is one of our most common fixes.
- Clutch & belt service. A worn CVT belt slips and robs power; we inspect and replace belts and service clutches when needed.
- Brake service. Worn pads or low fluid make a ride dangerous. We inspect, adjust, and repair brakes.
- Winch wiring. A winch that won't pull is usually a wiring or ground problem — we trace the circuit and get it working.
- Fuel system work. Old gas, water in the tank, or clogged filters cause no-starts. We clean the system and get fresh fuel flowing.
Seasonal Prep for Kentucky Riding
A little prep keeps your machine ready:
- Spring: Fresh gas, a charged battery, and a look at tires, air filter, and fluids before the first ride.
- Summer: Heat stresses cooling and charging systems — check coolant and air filter.
- Fall: Check brakes, tires, and drivetrain before the machine is put away.
- Winter: Add fuel stabilizer, top off the tank, and put the battery on a maintainer — it prevents most spring no-starts.
